Infants/Toddlers/Children

Once your newborn is discharged from the hospital, we encourage you to call our office to make your baby’s initial appointment, usually during the first first week of life. Following that first appointment, your baby will be seen for routine exams per the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics (http://www.aap.org/) , as well as receive immunizations to protect against vaccine preventable illnesses and diseases.

From age 2 years until adolescence your child will be receiving a physical examination, as well as a developmental assessment and routine vaccinations. Behavioral issues can be discussed and addressed as well during these visits. Routine blood work, including lead risk assessment, is done at these times. A vision and hearing exam is done at the appropriate age visits.

Please check with your insurance carrier prior to making an appointment to verify coverage
