Blood Drawing
Drawing blood is provided as a courtesy to our patients for routine blood work and anytime during a sick visit if necessary. Our staff is trained in phlebotomy and has many years of experience with children.
** Please note, blood work ordered by outside physicians will NOT be drawn in the laboratory in our office and should go directly to an outside lab appropriate to the insurance carrier.
Rapid Strep Tests and Throat Cultures
Rapid Strep tests as well as throat cultures are done in our office.
CBC
CBC (complete blood count) is available when necessary at the discretion of the physician. This is obtained either by a finger-stick on small babies or a venipuncture on older children. Results are obtained within minutes.
Urine
Urine analysis and urine culture are also done in our office, as well as urine catheterizations when needed.
