Dr. Carol Wurzel

Carol Wurzel, MD, FAAP holds BS Magna cum laude in Biomedical Education from the Sophie Davis School for Biomedical Education at City College of New York and her Medical Degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Wurzel continued her medical education by completing her internship, residency and chief residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at Schneider Children’s Hospital.  

Dr. Carol Wurzel is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Wurzel is general pediatrician with experience in a variety of clinical and private settings. She loves taking care of kids of all ages while creating an atmosphere in which comfort, fun and education is combined with excellent care.

She has been a Clinical preceptor for New York Medical College for the past 10 years.

Dr. Carol Wurzel diverse interests lie in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and children with special needs.
